The new rules, designed to increase investment and competition in the sector, pave the way for the likes of Amsterdam-based VimpelCom, which operates in Russia and Algeria, to increase its stake in Wind Mobile, a Toronto-based carrier that began operating in 2009.
Canada’s plan to allow foreign companies such as VimpelCom Ltd. to increase their stakes in the country’s telecommunications providers poses a “considerable risk” to national security, Public Safety Canada warned.

If you have incurred any financial losses related to the program (such as document submission - i.e. ID, diploma, etc.), please follow the procedure below to receive full reimbursement for these losses.
BTS Ontario Membership Report: Volunteer Mentor Technicians Required

Brothers and Sisters,
BTS is growing dramatically which means adding hundreds of new technicians to the bargaining unit in the next few years.
Unfortunately, for every 10 new technicians hired, at least 5 will quit before they complete their first year.
There are probably many reasons for this high attrition, but one certain reason is that many new technicians aren’t given the in-field support to help them succeed, and therefore leave in frustration.
